Upcoming event alert: London Design Festival presents Sustainable China x WEVE2050 22.09.2022
The London Design Festival is an annual event which builds on London’s existing design activity and promotes the city’s creativity. One of the exciting events taking place this year is the Sustainable China X WEVE2050 exhibition!
The exhibition will take place from the 20th of September - the 25th of September. It is the first exhibition in the history of the London Design Festival to systematically explore sustainable development in China from realistic and cultural perspectives. To celebrate not only the event but creative innovation WEVE2050 is hosting a private viewing of the exhibition complete with drinks, curator talks and designer stories on the evening of the 22nd of September!
London Design Festival is an innovative event which brings together designers from across the globe and demonstrates the capital’s position as a powerhouse for the creative industries. Sustainable China is an exhibition produced by WEVE2050 focusing on sustainable stories in China by Chinese designers. WEVE2050 is a circular-economy designer brand based in London, committed to inviting the public to sustainable living through accessories, workshops, pop-up shops and exhibitions from three dimensions; self, lifestyle and the world.
They have selected more than 20 design works to participate in the offline exhibition, from materials, architecture, products, fashion, textile and concept design to showcase the sustainable views of Chinese youth and designers. The aim is to explore the sustainable concepts hidden in the traditional Chinese culture, find a sustainable direction in the dilemma of fashion consumption, build sustainable lifestyles on a timescale, and try to find other sustainable futures.
