LONDON FASHION WEEK IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER. IN COLLABORATION WITH FASHION SCOUT, I.DEA PR IS BRINGING YOU TWO EXCITING EVENTS OVER THE WEEKEND OF THE 16th, 17th, and 19th of February.
THURSDAY 16TH LAUNCH EVENT:
CREATIVE DNA: AFRICA
We are also delighted to announce that we have an installation named Creative DNA: Africa in collaboration with British Council and hosted by Fashion Scout.
The British Council’s Creative DNA programmes are focused on promoting alternative approaches to the global fashion system with the ambition of demonstrating that the fashion sector in Africa is a professional choice for young people and a valuable contributor to the creative economy. In addition, you can check out and explore some of their incredible collections @foziaendrias, @epicajewellery, @baaxstudio, @igc_fashion, and @hausofstone. This showcases some of their fantastic work, which takes inspiration from African cultures and traditions.
FRIDAY THE 17th OF FEBRUARY DE FICHIER:
CATWALK SHOW
The brand DE FICHIER represents completeness, one that can stand the refinement and precipitation of time. DE FICHIER will be debuting their new 2023 collection during a physical catwalk show in collaboration with fashion scout. Their collection combines Wabi-Sabi as an element and a way of expression, it created a superposition of culture and elements. Traditional, but modern, there is a clean outline that defines women’s contours and proportions.

SUNDAY THE 19th OF FEBRUARY YEF STUDIO:
A DIGITAL CATWALK SHOW
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT SUNDAY, YEF STUDIO’S DIGITAL CATWALK SHOW. YEF Studio is an upcoming, London-based luxury menswear label founded by Yalei Elena Feng. YEF Studio promotes and is inspired by innate contrasts and the individuality of self-expression. By keeping it simple and focusing on the details the result cuts a renewed figure of male confidence, in which the wearer can lead from the front without resorting to cliché.
The designer remains concerned with the future, utilising recycled and eco-friendly synthetics, minimising waste by incorporating leftover fabrics into versatile accessories such as their ‘leather scraps bag’ and creating a timeless staple core line. From nylon, denim, and leather accentuated with contrast stitching and RIRI zips, YEF STUDIO is committed to presenting a broader menswear spectrum. They are reworking the classics whilst providing a legitimate alternative to the norm.
